Good Evening Tiger Families! We would like to thank everyone who arrived to school on time and was ready for testing this morning! We want to challenge everyone to do it again tomorrow as we conduct our 5th Grade Physical Science Test and make-up testing for those few students who were not able to make it to school today for the Reading Check-Ins test. Please make sure that all students are present and on time tomorrow as testing will begin around 8:30am. Also, make sure that your child gets enough rest each night so they are ready for testing. We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early in the morning! Have a great evening!

Flexible Thinking means adjusting when things don't go as planned- just like a palm tree sways in the wind! Second graders explored this concept through movement, dancing rigid like an oak tree and flowing smoothly like a palm. 🌳🌴

A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Kayitare (Juru's parents) for sharing their culture and heritage with Lewis' Whiz Kids. . Rwanda is located in West Africa. It is known as the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda's stunning scenery and warm, friendly people offer unique experiences in one of the most remarkable countries in the world. It has stunning wildlife living throughout its volcanoes, rain forests, and plains. We enjoyed dancing, and learning some French and Swahili. Très Bien!/Zuri Sana!/Very Good!

"Mrs. Lewis's kindergarten students enjoyed mixing vinegar, baking soda, and green dye in plastic eggs. They made predictions and connections as the experiment erupted like a volcano. We have future scientists!"
