Tomorrow is National Stem Day!

No School for Students tomorrow Tuesday November 5,2024!
¡No hay clases para los estudiantes mañana, Martes 5 de Noviembre de 2024!

Parents if you are coming to visit the book fair this afternoon please enter through the historic entrance or the back entrance at the auditorium!

Ms. Woodell and Mr. Arnold's first graders have been learning about objects in the sky. This week was bat week and students completed a non-fiction book study where they learned all about these nocturnal mammals that fly at night! After reading non-fiction books about bats, students filled in a sentence tree graphic organizer and formed written summaries. Today, students wrapped up their non-fiction book study by creating an A+ bat puppet craft and acted out what bats do during the day and night. Afterward, they completed their first recorded speaking assessment on Padlet, showcasing their new knowledge of bats using complete sentences!
