Good evening Tiger Families! This is a reminder about the free haircuts that will take place here at W. B. Wicker on Wednesday, February 5th from 10am until 1pm. We are very excited to have T and M Barber School coming out to do this for our students. Permission forms went out last week about students being able to receive a free haircut. If you would like for your child to participate in the free haircuts, please sign the form and send it back tomorrow or come to the school and fill out a form in the front office. You can also write a note stating that you would like for your child to receive a free haircut and describe the type of haircut that you would like for your child to receive. Thank you so much for all of your support!

Good evening Tiger Families! We would like to encourage all parents to visit our school website and social media page on Facebook to keep up with all of the events, pictures, and highlights of Wicker Happenings on a daily basis. You will also have access to our Parent Newsletter that is posted every two weeks with important parent updates and information. This week the newsletter includes a Parent Survey that we would love for each of you to fill out. Let us know how we are doing! All responses are anonymous, so please give us your honest opinion. We will continue with our ACCESS Testing this week and over the next few weeks for all of our ESL students. We will also begin with our AIG screener this week. Students who are eligible to test will do so with our AIG teacher, Ms. Tina Lee. Please make sure that your child is at school and on time each day. On February sixth, students will take class pictures as well as group pictures. Please make sure that you visit our website for more information about payment of these pictures. We would like to congratulate our Chess Team for their efforts at the Chess Tournament that was held this past Friday at Greenwood Elementary School. Our students did an outstanding job and represented W. B. Wicker well! Thank you to our coaches, Mr. Maddox and Ms. Tina Lee for their efforts and working with our team of students in order to make this happen! Just a reminder that our tardy bell rings each day at 7:55am. After that time, you must come inside to sign your child in to school for the day. We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early in the morning! Have a great evening!

We are so excited to celebrate Black History Month with our students with month!
