Graduation breakfast, mandatory practice with ticket distribution and the ceremony are all on Thursday, May 28th.
Remind guests that balloons and air horns are not permitted inside the stadium.
Attention Class of 2027! The MCV vaccine is required for 12th grade. Be sure to get your second dose by September 9, 2026. Schedule your appointment early and turn in your proof to avoid any delays.

Make sure you’re ready for mandatory graduation practice on Wednesday, May 28th at 8:30 AM in the gym and report to your classroom by 6:00 PM that evening.

Admission to the 3rd and 4th round playoff games is $12. This price is set by the NCHSAA. Tickets for the 1st and 2nd rounds are $10.

The following is the testing schedule for CTE exams Spring 2026 at Southern Lee. Students were given letters if they do not have an in-person exam because their credentials or PBM counted as their final exam.
Parents and students should monitor their emails as the email for the June classes have been sent out. Updates may come to their email about upcoming classes or behind-the-wheel sessions.

Southern Lee’s Skills USA & Academy Of Engineering Sixth Annual Cruise In Car Show is on Saturday May 9th from 10 AM - 2 PM. Located in the student parking lot behind Southern Lee High School 2301 Tramway Road, Sanford, NC. Food trucks will be on site and admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.
Southern Lee High and San Lee Middle Band are hosting their 2nd Annual Mattress Fundraiser on Sunday, May 10th, from Noon - 5pm. This may sound weird, but it is the best way to buy a new mattress because the prices can’t be beaten, the brands are the same as retail stores, and every purchase benefits the Band Students. Please help to spread the word
