Due to the heightened potential for severe storms this evening, the Graduation Ceremony for Southern Lee High School will now be held indoors in the Main Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m. We consulted with the National Weather Service and our Operations team and believe that this is the safest course of action for tonight. While we were hoping for a break in the weather, the safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Important Details: - Each graduate received five (5) tickets, during graduation practice this morning. - Every individual must have a ticket, regardless of age. - The doors will open for those with tickets at 6:30 p.m. - Please be aware that no balloons or noisemakers will be allowed inside the gymnasium. For those unable to attend: - The ceremony will be streamed live at https://sanfordtv.live. - W.B. Wicker Elementary School Auditorium will also be open for live streaming. Seating at W.B. Wicker is first-come, first-served. Door will open at 6:30. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating the Class of 2025!

Graduation practice is MANDATORY. Be in the main gym ready to go at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 29th. This year, Seniors can enjoy breakfast from 7:45 to 8:30 AM.

The 2025 SLHS Cavalier Volleyball Camp will be held at Southern Lee High School Gym on June 24-26 from 9am-11am. Check-in will begin at 8:45am. The camp is designed for athletes in 3rd-8th grade. For all current Juniors: Let's spring into action and get your proof of vaccines turned in now. Avoid the busy beginning of your Senior Year. Deadline is the 30th day of school, September 12, 2025. A second dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) is required See your child's physician or the local health department to receive the meningococcal booster vaccine. Proof should be directed to our school nurse, Angie Licata, RN.
