In celebration of Thursday's Clean Out Your Bookcase Day, the National Technical Honor Society, we are asking Southern Lee staff and students to bring in books they no longer use.
Your contributions will not only help enrich our library but also foster a love for reading among young learners in the community. Please gather any gently used books that are suitable for children ages 3-16 and bring them to Mrs. Shanna Roberts’ Room #715 by Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025. Your generosity can make a significant difference, and we appreciate your support in this endeavor.

Thank you, school bus drivers, for keeping everyone safe everyday!

WorkKeys is scheduled for February 19th (not April). Students should make sure they know what room they are testing in. Remember, they will be counted as absent from the class but this will be corrected by the front office.

"I love working with students and their families to provide the support they need with navigating high school successfully as well as making plans after graduation."

Ms. Kelly is a great addition to the Southern Lee Guidance department!

Pronounced "Fell-sted" Ms. Fjeldstead has steadily fallen in love with Southern Lee and the Cavaliers. "I love being a counselor because I love being able to provide a safe space for students to offer the same support that was given to me when I was in high school. Being a teenager is hard, but having just one adult in the building that a student can go to for anything can make all the difference."

When asked why she loves being a counselor, Ms. McDonald replied " love being a school counselor because I get to help students make healthy decisions now that set them up for post-secondary success..

Ms, Katlynn Roberts' loves her job because... "I love helping students navigate challenges and discover their potential. I really enjoy working with the seniors as they are preparing to make big decisions about their futures and navigating the new chapters in their lives."
