Bus 17 is having mechanical issues. If your student has not been dropped off yet, the bus will be about 20-25 minutes later as we are waiting for a sub bus. Students are safe and with Mrs. Cooper. Students cannot be picked up at the bus as we cannot check ID and it is a safety issue. Thank you for your patience!

Families can now see Individual Student Reports (ISRs) from state assessments in their parent portal app! State assessments include BOGs, Check-Ins, and EOGs!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Lopez to our kindergarten team as our new teacher assistant! She is going to be a great new addition to the Deep River family!

Our 3rd-grade students will take their Beginning of the Grade (BOG) Reading state test on Tuesday August 26, during the day! The BOG will help establish a baseline measure of your student's reading skill and will help them meet the requirements of the Read to Achieve law. Please contact our assistant principal, Elayne Monjar, if you have any questions! Each student will be receiving a letter from their teacher, which explains more of the Read to Achieve law.


Good morning! We are changing the bus for Galvin Ridge students and Boys & Girls Club students in the afternoon! Galvin Ridge students will be transported on Bus 193. Boys & Girls Club will be transported on Bus 108!

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Kenia Campos to Deep River! Mrs. Campos is our front office receptionist, who will be helping our students, families, and staff daily! So whenever you stop by Deep River, make sure to say hi to Mrs. Campos!

Congratulations to Mrs. Lawler for being awarded $3,500 from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to purchase books for our library! This is the third year winning this particular grant, and we are so thankful for her efforts to build our library!
