We are excited to have the Season of Harvest lunch with our students and families the week of Nov. 17! Students were given the sign-up sheet today and should have brought it home today or will bring it home tomorrow! If you are interested in attending, then please fill out the form and return it by Monday. Please note that the 4th-grade students have a field trip on Thursday, Nov. 20, so their lunch will be packed for the field trip.


Good morning! Bus 49 is having mechanical issues so bus garage is sending out a sub bus for Mrs Atkins to continue the route. If your student has not been picked up yet then there will be a delay while we wait for the sub bus. All students already picked up are safe and with Mrs Atkins on Bus 49.
ESL families, we will have our ESL parent night next Thursday, November 13 at 5:30 pm in our Media Center! We look forward to seeing you there!


Two reminders for this week- daylight savings ends on Sunday so we all get one extra hour tomorrow! Plus, students do not have school on Tuesday with election day!




Our students had some creative lessons this week! Mrs Johnson's class had some Halloween fun! Our 5th grade did Fear Factor in ELA yesterday!






We had a BOO-tacular day! Our 5th graders explored the NC Zoo! Our amazing staff had some yummy treats to wrap up a great week!



We are so excited to host the 2nd Annual Deck the Halls on Thursday December 4! Our staff and PTSO are working hard to create a festive night filled with games, meet and greets with Santa, Photo Booth, and food vendors for our community to enjoy! Anyone 3 years or older will need to pay a $2.00 entry fee. We look forward to seeing you there!




Good morning! Due to traffic, Bus 18 is delayed starting its route this morning. We will send out a text message when Mrs Petty starts her route.
Thank you to Mayor Salmon for presenting to our 3rd grade students on local government! They have been learning about the different levels and branches of our government in Social Studies. It was PJ day for Red Ribbon Week so our students were super comfy while listening to Mayor Salmon!

Do not forget that we have Red Ribbon Week this week! We cannot wait to see everyone in their favorite sports shirt, jersey, or hat on Monday!


Our families had so much fun last night! Edwin and Jarok saw their favorite sheriff last night! Thank you Lee County Sheriffs and SRO Kevin Spivey for hosting a great event!

Families, do not forget that we will have our Title 1 meeting, Book fair parent night, and fall music night for our 2nd and 5th graders! The book fair is 4 to 6 pm. The music concert starts at 6 pm. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

Families, do not forget that we will have family night on Tuesday, October 21 starting at 4 pm! Starting at 4 pm, we will have Title 1 information and Book fair shopping for families! Then at 6 pm, our 2nd & 5th grade students will have their music concert! Students should wear fall colors and be in the gym at 5:45 to get ready. We cannot wait to see you there!
