Today, we celebrated our quarter 1 students who reached their goal for accelerated reading! These students got to pick an item from the AR prize cart for meeting 100% of their AR goal with 80% accuracy! Keep up the great work!
Good morning! Bus 17 students will be picked up about 20 mins later than normal by a sub bus. Students will not be marked tardy to school. Starting next week, we will start sending alerts by specific buses only. Thank you!

Families can add money to an online account for their student to use at the book fair. Information about setting up an eWallet can be found on the book fair website. You can even set up an eWallet for yourself to ask friends/family to support your classroom or students. Students will be given the opportunity to shop during their resource time.
Starting October 28, we will start using a Rooms in the Lee County Schools app to communicate with students and families assigned to their specific bus. We will also start sending out specific bus alerts by bus. If you are not signed up for Rooms, then please email Elayne Monjar (elaynemonjar@lee.k12.nc.us), our AP, to get set up!

Thank you to Flats Springs Baptist Church for hosting a staff lunch today!! This was originally planned to be our beginning of the school year lunch but due to the hurricane, we rescheduled it to today!! Our staff loved the time to enjoy each other's company and eat the yummy food!

Good morning! Deep River will have our first NC Check-In starting October 23 to October 29 for grades 3 to 5 students. We encourage all students to be present for their NC Check-Ins, so they do not need to make them up on their field trips dates. If you have any questions, then please email Ms. Elayne Monjar, our AP.
