Today, our staff traveled to Colombia for Teacher Appreciation! Thanks to the PTSO and a Deep River family, our staff enjoyed a coffee bar! We went to Colombia in honor of Mr Jorge, a beloved Deep River teacher! 💚💙🐊

This year has been an adventure at Deep River! So for Teacher Appreciation, we are taking our world class teachers on an adventure around the world! Pilot Coggins and flight attendant Monjar served in flight snacks on Friday! Then our staff enjoyed a yummy trip to Mexico today! Thank you to the PTSO for a great nacho and taco bar! Today is National Principals Day! Help us celebrate our amazing principal, Mrs. Emily Coggins! We appreciate how she works hard every day for our students, staff, and families! Thank you for always encouraging us to excel and support one another!

Can you believe it is the last month of school?! Mark the calendar- our last day is on Friday May 23rd! We will dismiss early on Friday at 12 pm.

Thank you to our Deep River Family, we raised $16, 385 for a new speaker system! To celebrate, we are going to have a spirit week next week! Check out our themes!

Families, don't forget that we will have our last PTSO meeting tomorrow night at 5:30 pm! We will see you all in the media center!

Families, we are going to celebrate Teacher Appreciation next week! We will be playing BINGO with our staff on Friday May 09! If you would like to celebrate with us and donate a small bingo prize, then please send a small bingo prize to the front office by Wednesday May 07!


Thank you to our families for always coming to support their students and Deep River! We appreciate everyone for coming to our EOG night last night! We also appreciate our families for volunteering at Deep River functions! We have some volunteers today to help with the Fun Run celebration!






Families, we will be having our end-of-grade tests starting the week of May 12! We highly encourage students to be present on the day of their exams to prevent them from being pulled during make-ups. This year, we are pleased to offer a new opportunity for students to get a second chance to retake their assessments after some remediation starting May 19!
