Families, we still have library books checked out! Please do not forget that all books need to be turned in or families will be charged for lost books! Please turn in books during the last week of school!

Congratulations to some our 5th grade battle of the book winners and Mrs Groce for being celebrated at tonight's board meeting! Thanks for coming and then leaving to go study for your math EOG 😉

Good morning! Bus 49 is running about 10 minutes behind schedule this morning. Mrs Philips is starting the route now.
Please do not forget to turn in all library books this week! All books are due before May 16 before students are charged late fees. Thank you!

Families, do not forget that we will start our end of grade tests this week! Students need to get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before they come to school! They will do great on their EOGs!

Today, we highlight our last group of staff, who help out at Deep River daily as grade-level tutors and long-term substitutes! We would not be able to support our students each day without these fantastic ladies! Thank you so much to these ladies for your help!

Today we went to France and enjoyed a yummy breakfast! Thank you to our front office ladies for organizing all of our different adventures each day! Mrs Coggins organized intercom karaoke game where staff had to identify the mystery song on the intercom to win a prize! We also had a lot of tacky tourists at school each day-- Mrs Williams won today's vote! We are off to our last country tomorrow!

Today we are highlighting our resource, literacy specialists, and core plus teams/departments! These staff members work daily with all grade levels, introduce new areas of learning, and support students in those different areas! We appreciate them! Deep River families, please tell us why you love these teachers!

Attention 5th grade families- if your student is attending West Lee next school year, then sign them up for this great opportunity! Your student has an opportunity to learn all about middle school before the first day of school!

We had a great day visiting Italy with a yummy pasta bar! Thank to Sip Happens for giving our teachers Italian sodas today! Our staff dressed as our students today! We loved seeing the mini teachers in the hall as well! 💚💙🐊
