Eighth grade parents, going to the high school to visit is an important first step in the high school transition. We still have 89 students with no signed permission slip. Please check with your child to ensure that their permission slip has been returned. Thank you!

This week, we’re giving a HUGE shoutout to the amazing school bus drivers who safely transport our students to and from school every day. A little appreciation can mean so much to them. Whether they're navigating through traffic or ensuring students get to school safely, they make the day SO much easier for many people. Make sure to thank your bus driver this week!!

Do you want to uncover the secret to school success and experience college field trips? Then bring your family to the AVID Family Information Night on February 6th from 5:30-6:30 at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center on Nash Street. AVID Teachers and students will be there from middle school through high school to answer all questions and help you apply to the AVID Program at your future school to start you on the road to success. Congratulations to our students who received a positive office referral from one of their teachers! Each student received a special lunch pass to use when they would like and a phone call home from the principal to let their families know how great they are doing here at West Lee Middle School. Look for future student recognition soon!
