School social workers play a vital role in supporting the mental health, well-being, and academic success of students. There was a mistake on the calendar that was sent home with the wrong remind code, the coaches will send the correct code home with the players at their next practice!
Our West Lee FFA Chapter competed at the Area 3 Envirothon along with LCHS FFA and SLHS FFA! Our West Lee FFA team placed 3rd! Now our team will move to states to compete! We are so proud of them, way to go West Lee FFA!!

At West Lee Middle School, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are always our top priorities. As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment, we wanted to inform you about a safety initiative that was conducted today.
On February 28, 2025, we conducted a routine safety check in collaboration with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department. This check involved the use of the department’s trained canine unit to assist in ensuring that our campus remains free of prohibited items.
The canine unit conducted a sweep of school property, student personal items, common areas, and parking lots. Classroom interruptions were limited, and the safety check was conducted in a manner to minimize disruption to the school day.
We believe that proactive measures like these help foster a safe and respectful environment for everyone at West Lee Middle School.
