
Attention Parents and Students! The PB&J drive goes through Thursday of next week! We are hoping to increase our donations so we can help the Salvation Army with their needs. They do so much for our community and we are excited to be able to give back! As you do your shopping this weekend, throw a few jars in your cart for us as you are able! Peanut butter and jelly is a small thing that could make a big difference to someone in need! Thank you!


Our West Lee FFA Chapter competed at the HarLee Federation Competition @ Western Harnett High School and placed 3rd overall in Tool I.D. So, they will move to compete at the state level in June. We are so proud of them way to go!

Women's Appreciation Month is a time to celebrate and honor the achievements, contributions, and progress made by women in various fields. We reflect on the historical struggles that women have faced and continue to face, while also acknowledging the remarkable strides they have made in areas such as politics, education, the workforce, arts, and social activism. It’s a time to celebrate not only the famous women in history but also the everyday women who make significant contributions to their communities.

The Service Club was able to learn about all the ways The Salvation Army helps our community at a recent meeting. They currently have a need for peanut butter and jelly. The Service Club is hosting a PB&J Drive at West Lee to benefit our local Salvation Army. Please donate jars of peanut butter and jelly. The drive is being held April 1-10th.

Do you have an instrument that is sitting around collecting dust? Well please consider donating it to the West Lee Middle School Music program!! We are accepting any instruments (except pianos or keyboards) in any condition! All donations will be used by the students of West Lee for many years to come and are greatly appreciated!


As part of Music in Our Schools Month, what better way to share a post than shouting out our orchestra students!!
On March 21st, the WLMS 7/8th Grade orchestra participated in the NC Music Performance Assessment. The orchestra performed for judges and received a Superior rating which is the highest score possible. The students also had the opportunity to perform at UNC Chapel Hill for the music faculty and head of the Orchestra program! We are so proud of our music students!

The Service and FFA clubs went to Parkview Retirement Home yesterday to spend time with some residents. The residents and students all had a great time playing bingo! We always enjoy our visits to Parkview! We have some great kids with a heart for service that love spreading some good will in our community!
