The Math 2 Honors students had the opportunity to learn some calculator coding earlier this week. These students were given a program code and had to enter it correctly into their TI-84 calculators. If the calculator was programmed correctly, they would display the Sierpinski Triangle. The Sierpinski triangle is a self-similar fractal. It consists of an equilateral triangle, with smaller equilateral triangles recursively removed from its remaining area. , which is named after the Polish mathematician Wacław Sierpiński.
