The LCHS Robotics Team went to Wake County on the weekend of March 6th-8th and competed in the FRC regionals. The Robotics Team (Sting) and Robot 10354 started their qualifying matches Saturday March 8th. At first it was a slow night for Sting, but after a few adjustments to the programming and Robot 10354, the team won their last 4 qualifying matches with their alliance and even temporarily beat a nightly high score of 165. On Sunday, the team resumed qualifying and was invited into alliance 8. After playing in the semi finals, the team and their alliance placed in the top 5!

The class of 2026 IB full diploma students completed the "Viva Voce" portion of their extended essay. The extended essay is a self-directed research paper that IB students begin their junior year and finalize during their senior year. Students focused on a variety of subjects from film, to psychology, to mathematics. IB students choose a topic they are passionate about and present it in March of their senior year in a presentation called "Viva Voce". We are very proud of their hard work and know that the skills they have learned through this process will transfer over to college and beyond. The attached pictures are from day 1 of their presentations. For more information about the International Baccalaureate Program at Lee County High School, email Mrs. Brown at katherinebrown@lee.k12.nc.us

Lee County Schools parents and guardians, this is an important message about registration for the 2026–2027 school year.

The Annual Review process is now open for all currently enrolled students. Please log in to Campus Parent and review or update your child’s information by selecting Existing Student Registration. During the Annual Review, families may also register a new student and request bus transportation for the upcoming school year.

New student registration for all grade levels for the 2026–2027 school year is also now open. Parents and guardians can complete the registration process using the Campus Parent app or through the enrollment link on our district website.

If your child will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026, they are eligible to register for Kindergarten. You can enroll your new Kindergarten student through the Campus Parent app or by visiting the Lee County Schools website.

We encourage all parents and guardians to complete registration and annual updates as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan staffing, transportation, and resources to ensure a strong start to the school year.

Visit the Lee County Schools website and click the link for Student Enrollments or Annual Online Registration on the homepage, or log in to Campus Parent today to get started.

Thank you for partnering with Lee County Schools.
