Our First Day of School Bell Schedule reflects Jacket Sting at 8am. Jacket Sting is listed as 6th period Advisory on schedules. We only have four periods (or blocks, as we call them) a day. We report to Jacket Sting (Advisory) only when planned, like on the first day of school. The second image provides acronyms to our building names. The third image is our regular everyday bell schedule that we will follow on August 12 and the rest of the year. Please note that lunch assignments have changed:
A Lunch - Admin, JROTC, Ag Science, and IT
B Lunch - Core Building
C Lunch - AW, Band/Arts, Auditorium
D Lunch - Career and Gym

Please make sure you arrive on time to avoid the missed testing fee.

Please take time to read through all of the information. If you have questions, it's best to reach out directly to the counselor your child is assigned for direct help. Thank you!

Please reach out to your student's teachers directly if you have questions about grades after you view them in Infinite Campus/Parent Portal. The semester is winding down, and we still have assignments to complete as well as the final exam, which is worth 20% of their final grade. Exam days are as follows:
Monday, May 18: 1st Block exams
Tuesday, May 19: 2nd Block exams
Wednesday, May 20: 3rd Block exams
Thursday, May 21: 4th Block exams
Friday, May 22: Make-up exams
Please note that an absence no matter the reason is an absence. Parent notes and doctor notes do not waive absences for this policy. School sanctioned and coded field trips are the only exceptions as students are still marked present. EOC courses include English 2, Math 1, Math 3, and Biology.

The deadline for registration is April 17.
The event will take place from 9am to 6pm on June 26, 2026, throughout downtown Raleigh.
This event is FREE and will include lunch, dinner, and snacks.
