On Friday, the elementary classes took a leisurely walk around downtown Sanford to view some of the murals. We took a nice break on the swings and made our way to Books at a Steal where everyone picked a book to buy. Then we headed back to the bus so we could go to OT Sloan park to play and eat lunch. We had a great trip!
We would like to thank Sam Phillips and her employees at Color Coven for the generous donation of school supplies. Color Coven and FLK are Partners in Learning to help the students grown and learn through the 2025-2025 school year.

This week Ms.Reece’s class learned all about our bodies! We learned about our body parts, our body systems, and how to take care of our bodies. For our weekly STEAM activity, we made body diagrams out of bulletin paper and coloring sheets to show our skeletal system and organs.

The elementary students completed an experiment to learn how things change when you mix them together and ended up with some modeling clay to take home!

💦Pre-K Water Day 💦
☁️Even though the skies were a little cloudy, our Pre-K kiddos brought all the sunshine today! Their laughter, splashes, and smiles made Water Day so much fun.
🚒A HUGE thank you to Firestation #2 (A Shift) for making the day extra exciting with the fire hydrant hook-up and playing with us as well!!
