Mrs. Hendrick and Ms. Reece's classes had a wonderful Friendsgiving!

Don't forget to order your Candy Canes!!
The elementary crew just wrapped up another epic community adventure! They visited Walmart for Friendsgiving treats and Secret Santa surprises, then topped it all off with a delicious feast at Wendy’s.

Mrs. Hendrick and Ms. Reece's classes had a blast at Walmart today getting ready for two special events! Students filled carts with goodies for their Friendsgiving celebration next week 🦃 and carefully selected perfect gifts for their upcoming Christmas exchange 🎁. After all that shopping worked up their appetites, they enjoyed a delicious lunch at Wendy's 🍔. The smiles and laughter made for a truly memorable day!
This week during PE, our school participated in the annual WSSA World Record STACK UP! event for the FIFTH year in a row! The World Record attempt is for the "Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations" from November 18th-20th. The goal is to beat 775,000 people Sport Stacking. Last year, we came in at 752,632 stackers! We are so proud of our pre-K, elementary, middle and high school students and staff that are being counted in this RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT!

It's that wonderful time of year! Help support the school with our Candy Cane Gram fundraiser. Please let us know if you need additional order forms.
Special Message from Ms. Weekly & Ms. Craig:

Our elementary classes had the best time visiting Fire Station No. 2! The firefighters showed us how they look in their turnout gear so we know not to be afraid. We got to explore the station to see where they live and work. Thank you @CityofSanfordNorthCarolinaFireDepartment

Mrs. Hendrick and Ms. Reece's class had fun on our field trip to Fire Station 2 today!

Please read the attached flyer and donate to FLK's service project if you can!
Mrs. Hendrick's class has been learning all about pumpkins. We learned about the pumpkin life cycle and pumpkin parts. Today, we carved a pumpkin and made our own jack-o-lantern. 🎃

What started as a service project for our elementary classes has now spread school wide. Everybody wants to help pack Birthday Cake Kits for World Kindness Day! Elementary will still be our point people and keep up with what has been collected, but ALL classes will now be helping! A big thank you to all who have made donations so far! We will be collecting items through Friday, November 7th.

Ms. Weekly and Ms. Craig's classes enjoyed painting pumpkins!

We hope everyone can join us for our Fall Festival this Thursday, October 23rd!

Ms. Abby would like to give Garland Coffer, owner of @Sandhills Property Maintenance (and our very own SRO) a HUUUUUGE thank you for purchasing a year subscription to Novel Effect for the library! It’s going to be so exciting to hear our books come to life!
