Do not forget that Deep River will have our Check-Ins this week! All 3rd to 5th grade students will be taking these check in tests starting on Tuesday Dec. 10! Do not forget that our student council is collecting new items for the women and children at the Haven! We are collecting items until this Friday, December 13!

Today was Deep River’s 46th annual tree lightening!! Each grade level came together during resource and lit our tree with help from our Mrs Coggins and our kindergarten Christmas angels. We had special guest readers including our former administrators, Mrs Lundy and Mrs McNickle, performances by each grade level teacher and resource teachers, to sing along Christmas songs! Thank you for celebrating the holiday season with us! 💚💙🎄











Mark your calendars! Friday December 20 is an early release for our students! We will dismiss at 12 pm (noon).



UPDATE #2- Bus 18 students will be picked up by sub Bus 186 in a double route. Mrs Wanda Coggins, bus driver, will be picking up these students. We will start this double route around 7:35. The first students will be picked up around 7:50. We appreciate your understanding of the delay. Students won't be tardy

Good morning, Bus 108 is running about 15 mins behind schedule. It will starts it route around 7:05 am. Students will not be marked tardy and will be given breakfast when they arrive on campus.


Bus 18 students are going to be picked up by Bus 54. Bus 54 is leaving Deep River now to pick up students. The
first students will be picked up in about 15 mins.

Due to mechanical issues, bus 18 is delayed, starting its route this morning. We will send a text message when the bus has started its route. Students will not be marked tardy, and breakfast will be served when they arrive on campus.

Deep River is so lucky to have amazing staff members and community members, who helped make our first Deck the Halls so magical!! Here are some of the hard working individuals who set up great stations for our families to enjoy! A special thank you to Deep River fire department for giving Santa a ride to Deep River, our wonderful PTSO who sponsored this event, and Pint Size Pasture for bringing their animals for our families to enjoy! Congratulations to our first grade team and their gingerbread hot coco station for winning the most popular station!

Deep River families, do not forget that tomorrow night, we will have our FREE event for families and students from 5 to 6:30 pm! We will have pictures with Santa, the grinch, Navi the Gator, and much more for our families! Come and enjoy some festive fun!



Deep River will have Check-Ins #2 for 3rd to 5th grade the week of December 10! Our 3rd through 5th grade students will take these benchmarks tests in ELA, math, and science. Students are required to take these students. We encourage all students to attend on test day so they do not have to make up their tests. Deep River's Student Council is holding its 7th annual Haven drive! They are collecting NEW items for women and children. We are collecting donations until Friday December 13!

We are so excited for all the fun things we have planned this week at Deep River! Our PTO will have its annual candy cane lane sale all week for students to buy gifts for their loved ones! On Tuesday December 3, we will have our Deck the Halls, a FREE event, for all families and students to attend!
