new to the Broadway Team. This teacher has come in with enthusiasm
and a smile since day one. This teacher brings talents and strengths to
the school. This teacher shows care and concern for each student and
works to form individual connections. Congratulations to the teacher of
the month, Jayson Nadelson!

Lee Co. Health Department will be holding an Immunization/Vaccine Clinic for school-required vaccines September 9th-18th. Call the Health Department at 919-718-4640 to schedule your student's appointment. Appointments can also be scheduled with your medical provider's office

Kindergarten Parents:
There will be a Kindergarten Teacher Workday on
Monday, August 19th. This will allow teachers to prepare for their classes.
Kindergarten Open House will be Monday, August 19th (5:00-6:00 pm).
You will learn who your child’s teacher will be at this time.
Tuesday, August 20th, will begin regular school days for Kindergarten.


As we look towards the first day for our traditional calendar schools tomorrow, we are glad to remind you that ALL students can receive FREE breakfast and lunch at every LCS Campus for the 2024-2025 school year! No forms are required! We are glad to be able to provide this service for our students. #LCSthrive


We can't wait to see our Broadway Elementary families this evening from 4-6 pm for Open House. This is for grades 1st thru 5th.
Kindergarten will have staggered entrance from Wed. August 14th thru 16th. No school for Kindergartens only on Monday August 19th. Then that night we will have open house for K only from 5-7 pm.
While at open house this evening make sure you stop by our book table at the front walk way to get a free book. Readers are Leaders!

Students entering Kindergarten have entry requirements that include the appropriate type of vaccine administrations and the correct number of doses for the student's age. NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has set up a new online dashboard to help parents determine the vaccine requirements for their child's entry to Kindergarten.
