Due to unfortunate circumstances, the athletic bus for today will only drop off students at the game. Parents will need to pick up their athletes at East Lee. Thank you!!

Bus #80 parents. These students will be late today. We have no bus driver for the bus and will have to run a second load. I know this is inconvenient on a Friday afternoon. You are welcome to pick up your child if you are able to do so. Thank you.

Today, students from Lee County High School and Southern Lee High School were proudly recognized at Pfizer for their outstanding contributions through the Learn to Work program. This valuable partnership between Pfizer and Lee County Schools provides students with the chance to develop essential employment skills that will serve them well in their future careers. The event highlighted this unique learning opportunity, with many community leaders including our superintendent, Dr. Dossenbach, and special guest speaker Rachel Hurt, Director of Exceptional Children, in attendance. The recognition ceremony celebrated the students' hard work and dedication, showcasing the positive impact of this program on their professional growth and future success.

The service club was out in the community last week serving our neighbors at The Bread Basket! We are very proud of these students for working hard to give back to the community! We dropped off supplies and stayed to help with whatever was needed including bagging plates, shelving cans, organizing paper products and sorting through produce. It is important for our students to not only grow academically, but also as a caring citizen. Having smart kids is great, but having smart kids that care is way better! These kids are great examples of compassion and giving. We are very proud they are part of the PRIDE!
