The district-wide Lee County Schools Festival of the Arts is BACK! Tomorrow at W.B. Wicker from 2:30-5:30 come join us in celebrating the arts with an Art Show, ensemble performances and get your hands on some great items in the silent auction! See you tomorrow afternoon at WBW!

West Lee’s 6th and 7th grade AVID students visited the campus of Methodist University this week. Some highlights of their campus tour included a forensics class crime scene, the physical therapy aquatics lab, merch at the campus store, and of course, LUNCH in the campus dining hall!
As we wrap up this year’s AVID “field trip season,” our AVID family would like to extend a huge thanks to Mrs. Cox—princiPAL, bus driver, and chaperone extraordinare—for helping make our field trips possible this year. In addition, thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with our dance fundraiser and/or joined us as chaperones on our adventures in higher education!
Our FINAL proud pride for the year!! Congratulations Mr. Taylor, Mrs. McKoy, and Mrs. Moltenbrey on receiving proud pride for May!! We appreciate everything you do for the students and the school! Thank you for helping make West better!

Don't forget tomorrow is WLMS school beautification day! We will begin at 8:00AM!
Calling all Pride families and community! Come on out to help support us in beautifying the front entrance of the school. Bring yard tools if you have them, and if you don’t, come on out anyway, and there will be something for everyone to do. We look forward to everyone coming together for this event!
We celebrated our Quarter 3 Honor Roll and ROAR students (students who brought up their grades) on Monday with a popcorn/popsicle/board games/lion signing party! These students have worked hard, and we are PROUD of them!
Partnership for Students and Families joined us during Exploratories on Wednesday to engage students in lessons for the anti-bullying campaign!

Our Ag. Science classes are learning about the different parts of a flower. To help them visually see the different parts we discussed about they created a cut flower from Legos! Can you guess what type of flower this is in the picture below?

Our West Lee FFA Chapter participated in the FFA HarLee Federation Leadership Conference last week at Trition High School. They had different stations where the students participated in different leadership, team building, and FFA activities. After the event we had to stop for food too! The students had a great time!
