First home game!!! If your student would like to stay for the game tomorrow, please send them with a note giving your permission. Please include your name and contact number. All spectators must be picked up by 5:30. Go Pride!! Remember ticket price for students is $4.
The service club is going to be taking donations here at West Lee to help those affected by the Hurricane in Western NC. We are doing this as a part of the Lee County Schools partnership with Downtown Sanford. The service club will sort the donations and get them delivered. Please donate as you are able. We are attaching a flyer that lists items needed.
Today Pint Sized Pasture came to our Ag. Science classes. Our students were able to see the variety of livestock animals that they have on their farm local here in Sanford. Our students were able to pet some of the larger animals and hold some of the smaller animals. These real life experiences mean the world to our students! They had the best time today!
Lee County Schools is partnering with Downtown Sanford, Inc., Visit Sanford and others to collect items for our neighbors in Western NC who have seen their communities and homes devastated by flooding. You can send donation items on the list below with your child to school or you can deliver your items to the Visit Sanford Welcome Center (229 Carthage St.) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

LCS will operate on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Tuesday, September 17. This delay will allow for additional daylight hours to ensure the safe travel of buses & provide extra time to make any necessary adjustments to our schedule should conditions change overnight.
