Mrs. Riveroll's 8th grade ELA classes utilized the courtyard for some fun station rotations!
Admin team’s group engaged in some fun team-building activities to finish off the final Friday Pride Time of the year!
Mrs. Gilleland's AVID students delivered sweet handwritten pencil bouquets to some of their teachers on Friday!
Our Ag. Science classes learned about Dairy Production and were able to make their own dairy product "ICE CREAM". They measured out their ingredients and learned how ice cream is processed! After they made their product they were able to eat it, which they really enjoyed!

The LCHS Dance Team will sponsor tryouts for the 2024-2025 season on Friday, May 24th at Kelly's School of Dance in downtown Sanford. Tryouts will run from 3:30 - 5:30. You must have proof of a current sports physical to try out.

Goody bags were enjoyed by all teacher/staff thanks to SGA. A BIG shout out to Mrs. Bryant's art club that personalized each bag!!
Our Ag. Science students learned about the “Soil Profile” to help them visualize the layers we completed in the edible soil profile lab. This was a great experience for them and the students loved eating their "edible soil" at the end that they created!!
West Lee will be hosting Cheerleading tryouts May 21-23!! Pick up a tryout packet at the front office or see Coach Shover or Coach T. Marsh for any questions!!!
Our West Lee FFA Chapter competed in the State Envirothon Competition. They placed 26th with over 49 teams competing from across the State of North Carolina. Our team also tied with the top 3rd FFA team too! They have worked super hard and had a great time! We celebrated with ice cream after their competition!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6th-10th!! We are excited to celebrate our AMAZING teachers here at West!! Make sure you reach out and give them an EXTRA thank you for all their hard work!!

The middle school band and orchestra students of Lee County combined to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival at South Pointe high school in Rock Hill, SC. The students competed in the Full Orchestra category where they received first place, and earned an excellent rating! We are proud of our West Lee students as well as the East and SanLee students who participated
