NC Representative Robert Rieves spent the day Friday speaking to the 8th Grade Social Studies classes. After being introduced, he spoke about his belief in about the importance of public schools and the importance of education in general. He detailed how his local education from elementary, junior high, high school, college at UNC, and the UNC Law School shaped his life. He shared his experiences as a lawyer and prosecutor and detailed how he became involved in politics.
