Makayla earned 1st Place, and Erick earned 2nd Place for their powerful artwork built around this year’s theme, “Together as One.”
Both students created original posters that showcased their own creativity, voice, and artistic freedom. Their work reflects the heart of our school community and the strength of our young artists.

A group of SLMS students attended CCCC’s National Manufacturing Day Industry Showcase on October 3. During the event, students completed MFG Day Bingo by talking with industry employers and education partners. Out of more than 500 participants, SLMS student Jose was one of five winners selected to receive a CCCC prize pack, which he was surprised with! 👏💡🔧

Tomorrow, 11/6, we will have our first home volleyball and soccer game. Students who stay after school for the game will report to the cafeteria at their grade level dismissal. Student tickets are $4, and adult tickets are $6. Tickets may be purchased in person, or on GoFan.co

A huge thank you to our staff, students, and community members for donating candy for this year’s Annual Fall Candy Walk! 💛 The outpouring of support was incredible and the smiles that filled the halls made it all worth it!
