Our band and orchestra students are hard at work preparing for All-County auditions, and they are putting in the effort it takes to perform at a high level. Excellence doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from practice, discipline, and learning from the best.
This week, we were honored to welcome friends from UNC Greensboro who poured into our students with focused lessons and encouragement. A special thank you to Dr. Dalia Razo and Dr. Scott Glasser for helping our students strengthen their intonation, refine their playing technique, and elevate their overall musicality.

Today our 8th Grade AVID students stepped onto a college campus and experienced what the future can look like. From a guided campus tour, to an Admissions presentation and Q&A, to seeing (and tasting!) college life in the dining hall, students were fully engaged from start to finish.
Walking through Buies Creek, standing by the Camel, sitting in real lecture spaces, and asking thoughtful questions made one thing clear: college is no longer an abstract idea—it’s a real, reachable goal.
Huge thanks to the Campbell Admissions team and Dining Services for an outstanding experience, and to our chaperones for helping make the day run smoothly. This is exactly what college and career readiness looks like—exposure, expectations, and inspiration.

Until further notice, Bus 20 will be operating with substitute drivers. It may not be the same sub driver each day. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through this driver shortage.
There will also be days when Bus 20 must run as a double route. A double route means a driver must complete their originally assigned route first and then return to run Bus 20’s route. On those days, this could result in up to a two-hour delay before students arrive home. I want to be very transparent so families can plan accordingly.
📲 It is extremely important that you download and actively use the Here Comes the Bus app to track real-time bus location and updates. This will be your most reliable tool for monitoring arrival times.
