This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are celebrating all of our amazing teachers and staff members! Today we are highlighting the 8th grade teachers! These teachers work hard to prepare students for their last year in middle school!
SanLee is so lucky to have amazing former stallions doing great things after they leave SanLee. Check out this former stallion, Rich Johnson, who graduated from LCHS in 2023, at the NCAA men's basketball tournament cheering for NC State!!
We are excited to celebrate our 8th graders on Friday, May 24! Each team will hold their own promotion ceremony, where our students will be honored for their promotion to high school and students awards will be distributed. Families can check their students out before each ceremony and once the ceremony is over, any checked out students can leave with their families. Below is each team's schedule: 8:15- UNC Wilmington Team (Ms. Batten, Mrs. Braren, Mr. Degon, & Mrs. Inman) 9:15- NC State Wolfpack Team (Mrs. Gross, Ms. Mays, Mrs. Vaughn, & Mrs. T Wicker) 10:15- Duke Blue Devils Team (Mr. B Caldwell, Mrs. K Caldell, Mrs. Holland, & Mrs. Schuster)
Congratulations to our baseball and girls soccer team for their great season:s!! The athletes were honored yesterday at the end of season banquet! Several students received individual awards too.
Happy School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to our amazing cafeteria staff for keeping our students healthy and safe! These ladies serve breakfast and lunch, and help drive our buses at SanLee! We appreciate your dedication to the Stallion Nation!

Good evening! We have 2 bus announcements for tomorrow morning. Bus 13 students will be picked up by sub Bus 189. Bus 45 will have a substitute bus driver and will pick up students at their normal time. Thank you!
UPDATE- Bus 45 students will be dropped off by Bus 48. It is leaving campus now to continue its route.
Hello! Bus 45 is having mechanical issues and it has returned to campus. We are waiting on a sub bus before we continue the route.
Our 8th grade dance will be on Friday, May 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm! Students need to turn in the signed permission form to purchase a ticket. Tickets will be sold from May 2nd to May 10th. Any student, who receives ISS, OSS, or a bus referral, between May 1st to May 17th will not be able to participate in the dance. Tickets will not be refunded.

Good morning! Bus 45 students will be picked up on a double route this morning. They will be picked up 1 hour later than normal. We will be using Bus 45 to pick up Bus 21 and Bus 45 students. Bus 21 students will be picked up at their normal time.

Congratulations to our baseball team for being undefeated this season! Our girls soccer team also had an amazing season with a 9-1 winning season! We honored our 8th graders before each game today as well! We look forward to celebrating these students at our sports banquet too!
