Students in 7th grade ELA are researching the 1960s which is the setting of The Outsiders before reading the novel next week. They had to choose two topics to research including teen fashion, tv shows and popular music. Students had to provide 5 facts about each topic and media within a slideshow. Mrs. Stack’s class had a few students volunteer to present on the big screen in the media center. After viewing presentations, students had the opportunity to provide feedback through glows and grows! We are so excited to begin our novel unit next week! #StallionsRise #EagertoExcel #theoutsiders

🎯 Math + Pop Darts = Learning in Action! 📐➗ Mr. Garner’s 7th grade math students put their skills to the test with a little friendly competition! Students worked through teacher-paced GoFormative questions using scale factor to find the area and perimeter of shapes. As teams answered questions, they earned opportunities to throw Pop Darts and score points for their team! 🎯🙌 Who says math can’t be fun? We love seeing our Stallions engaged, collaborating, and learning together! 💜💛 #StallionsRise #SanLeeMiddle #MathInAction #EngagedLearning #LearningIsFun #7thGradeMath

🥎💜💛 PROUD OF OUR LADY STALLIONS! 💛💜🥎 The scoreboard may not have gone our way, but our Lady Stallions showed heart, determination, and fight in their first game of the season against West Pine! With very little practice time under their belts, every inning was an opportunity to learn, grow, and get better. They stayed positive, kept pushing, and gained valuable experience that will only make them stronger. This is just the beginning… the comeback is coming! 👀🔥 Keep working, Lady Stallions!
