Bringing The Outsiders to Life
Our seventh-grade students traded their devices for a trip back in time as they explored an incredible collection of classic cars while beginning the novel The Outsiders.
This memorable background-building experience was made possible by Mrs. Lewis and generous members of the SanLee community who helped bring the novel’s time period to life. Thank you to everyone who made this special learning opportunity possible for our students!

The SanLee Stallions shut out Crains Creek Middle School 16-0 on Monday, blown open by a huge 9-run fourth inning!
Game Highlights:
🥎 Lights-Out Pitching: Kai started strong with 5 Ks over 3 scoreless innings, and Ella slammed the door in relief with 3 Ks in a scoreless fourth!
💥 Big Fourth Inning: The Stallions capitalised on high-energy baserunning and key RBI plays from Kai, Aubrey, Esabella, Skylar, Ella, and Nastajssa to break the game wide open.
🛡️ Flawless Defense: A clean, sure-handed effort in the field with zero errors all game!

Our students truly SHINED as they shared presentations highlighting different Hispanic cultures, traditions, and histories. We loved seeing our students, families, staff, and community come together to learn, celebrate, and enjoy such a meaningful night.
From the delicious food to the beautiful artwork, energetic performances, dancing, and student presentations—this was more than an event. It was an experience! ❤️

Seventh grade teachers gathered items to create a museum of the 1960’s so that students could experience items from that time before reading the novel The Outsiders. Students listened to records from the time and were able to use phones, cameras, and other items from the 60s.
SanLee Stallions Beat East Lee Middle School 8-7 in Thrilling Walk-Off!
The SanLee Stallions pulled off a dramatic 8-7 walk-off win against East Lee Middle School on Thursday! Tied at 7-7 in the bottom of the sixth, Nastajssa L. hit a game-winning groundout to bring home the decisive run.
Game Highlights:
•On the Mound: Kai B. pitched a complete no-hitter, striking out 12 batters.
•At the Plate: Aubrey C. led the offense, going 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs.
•On the Basepaths: The Stallions were aggressive all day, racking up 13 stolen bases led by Sophie D., Kai B., and Aubrey C.
SanLee travels to Crains Creek Middle School for their next matchup on Monday. Go Stallions! 🐴🥎
