Ms. Josie Guin started her first day of teaching at Southern Lee five years ago after graduating from Western Carolina in 2020. She’s taught both English I and English II. This Four Oaks, NC native is making her mark on education!
When you’re on campus, you hear “Ms. Guin” everywhere. She serves as a club advisor to Crafty Cavs, Prom and the Battle of the Books. Prom is her favorite since it impacts both the Junior and Senior class and serves as life-long memories for the Cavaliers.
She has great support at home from Lacy (Shetland Sheepdog) and her two cats Fitzgerald and Poppy. This accolate means so much as her peers selected her for the honor. “I love Southern Lee because it feels like home here. We care about student success and work hard to help them succeed.”

If you want to graduate in May, you must attend CPR training on Wednesday, March 26 at 9:45 in the Cafeteria.

Make a run for it! Cross Country is a great way to stay fit for Winter and Spring sports. Get OUTSIDE and breathe fresh air. Connect with nature. Running also helps to reduce stress from school (and parents). It's a win-win. So tie up those laces and learn more about CC.
