Mr. Soriano has been named our SL Sub-Bus Driver of the Year for stepping up and driving when others could not. He has driven the following bus routes: 14, 29, 56, 57, 82, and 88.

Parents: Please make sure you know which lunch your student has and what times that falls between. Students are not allowed to use cell phones during class. Teachers often hear "But I'm texting my Mom." This is their WORK TIME. Most jobs allow you to only use your phone during break or lunch, not throughout the day. You can contact your child's teacher with ROOMS,, available from the new LCS app.
Students and parents should log into Infinite Campus and check their grades and especially missing work. IC offers both parent and student versions of the app for your phone. Just 7 days left!

Students need to log into Canvas and complete the remote learning day assignments for all 4 of their classes.
The campus is closed for students and staff on Thursday, February 20. However it is a remote learning day. Students have five days to turn in their assignments.

In celebration of Thursday's Clean Out Your Bookcase Day, the National Technical Honor Society, we are asking Southern Lee staff and students to bring in books they no longer use.
Your contributions will not only help enrich our library but also foster a love for reading among young learners in the community. Please gather any gently used books that are suitable for children ages 3-16 and bring them to Mrs. Shanna Roberts’ Room #715 by Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025. Your generosity can make a significant difference, and we appreciate your support in this endeavor.

WorkKeys is scheduled for February 19th (not April). Students should make sure they know what room they are testing in. Remember, they will be counted as absent from the class but this will be corrected by the front office.
