Parents, please be advised that Parent Portal is a required app beginning next school year. It’s also very helpful to have right now. Parents can track student attendance and grades as well as make transportation updates and update information annually. Using this app is replacing the PE cards, so parents will need to do the annual update in Parent Portal if they want their students to participate in gym, sports, and any field trips.

Today, members of the Beautify the Hive Beautification Club at Lee County High School met with representatives from Keep NC Beautiful. The students conducted a tour for Kyle Prairie, CEO of Keep NC Beautiful, and Stacey Burris and Casey Goldberg from the State Employees Credit Union, showcasing two upcoming projects that Beautify the Hive will be undertaking. During the tour, the students shared their ideas for the development of both project spaces. Following the tour, Beautify the Hive was awarded a grant of $1,000 for the Circle Garden and Main Entrance Project, which are the two primary areas most frequently visited by guests to our school. For more information about Keep NC Beautiful and the WOO Grant, please visit the organization’s website. https://www.keepncbeautiful.org/
