Good morning! We conducted our first safety lockdown drill today! This was a drill. All students and staff were safe during this time.

Good morning! Bus 49 with its sub driver is running about 30 mins behind schedule. Students will not be marked tardy and will be given breakfast.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Priscilla Wiaczek to Deep River! Mrs. Wiaczek is an experienced teacher, who has worked at WB Wicker Elementary, for several years now. She will be a great new addition to our kindergarten team!

We are excited for our annual book fair in two weeks! Students will have the chance to purchase items during the day at school. We will also have our family night Tuesday Oct 21 from 4 to 6 pm! Congratulations to London H.,4th grade, for being the top chocolate seller! London sold 19 boxes of chocolate!

Thank you to the Deep River student council! Every student got a little pumpkin from White Hill farms! Students will be taking their pumpkin home today!

Today we celebrated the three ladies who keep our school so clean and safe for our students, staff, and families!! We appreciate our amazing custodians so much! Thank you to Mrs Williams, Mrs Reives, and Mrs Petty! Happy National Custodian Day!

Families, please do not forget, cars can line up in the two far right lanes to drop their students off in the morning! This will prevent having cars lining up on Deep River road. We need the far left lane open to allow buses room to drive past the cars to drop off their students in the back lot. Thank you!

Families, we have to reschedule tonight's PTO meeting to Thursday October 09 at 5:30 pm! We look forward to having you attend next week!

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will have their first state Check In exams on the week of October 13th! These benchmarks are for ELA, Math, and Science. We will have make-ups the following week due to the teacher workdays on Thursday, October 16 and Friday, October 17.
