Yesterday, Mrs. Siegfried’s class started learning about Equivalent Fractions! Students explored how different fractions can represent the same value, even when they look different. She used visuals, models, and hands-on activities to support understanding.

February is almost here! 📅
Please mark your calendar for these important dates and events coming up next month. We look forward to your participation and continued support! 🐾 💖
Dear Broadway Families, we will be kicking off our Kids Heart Challenge this week. Your student will receive an envelope to participate if your family chooses to do so. Every dollar raised in this fundraiser goes to the American Heart Association (AHA). Students who donate money will have the ability to earn prizes. These prizes are listed on the envelope that is being sent home. The easiest way and preferred way to donate is through the AHA App that is available on the app store and google play store on cellular devices. Please do not send students to school with monies for donations please do this online. Students will also have the opportunity to learn hands only CPR in the app and can earn prizes for completing this training.
The teacher in each grade level who has the most students registered in the app (which is free to do) will win a $25 Amazon gift card. If 50% of the students register online then Mr. Rosser will receive $500 for PE Equipment from the AHA. If you choose to participate, the fundraiser will end on February 14th. All donations should be turned in by this time.
