🍎🍏 Johnny Appleseed Fun! 🍏🍎 Mrs. McGee and Mrs. Godfrey’s Kindergarten class had a fun Johnny Appleseed activity! Students learned about apples, tasted different varieties, shared their favorites, and graphed the results. 🍎📊 What a fun and tasty way to learn! ❤️

⚡️🎈 Science in action! Mrs. Wilkes’ class had an exciting time exploring static electricity with a fun hands-on experiment! Using a balloon, small pieces of paper, and a paper plate, students observed how static electricity can attract and move objects without even touching them. 🎈⚡️ Our Wildcats had the opportunity to make predictions, observe what happened, and discover how static electricity works. 📜 Remembering Constitution Day

On Constitution Day, we remember the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787. Today, our Wildcats learned about the United States Constitution, one of the most important documents in our nation’s history.

This important document established our government and continues to protect our rights and freedoms. Today, we honor this important part of our nation’s history and remember the values of democracy, equality, and responsibility. ❤️🤍💙

Hello Parents,

Today, your child is bringing home a Book Buddy Lanyard letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.

The SchoolStore Program is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.

Here is all you need to do to participate:

2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Book Buddy Lanyard with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.

🎭📚 Learning comes to life with puppets! Mrs. Acosta's 2nd Grade Dual Language class had so much fun creating and using puppets to bring the characters from their CKLA stories to life! ❤️📖 Through this hands-on activity, students practiced retelling stories, sequencing events, describing characters, and strengthening their spanish speaking skills all while learning through play and creativity! 📚🤠 Learning Together with Tall Tales! Mrs. Billings’ and Mrs. Currin’s classes worked with partners to compare and contrast characters from Tall Tales! 🍎 The Broadway Wildcats’ Honorable Mention Teacher of the Month fosters an inviting atmosphere and maintains a positive, encouraging spirit in the classroom. This teacher is dedicated to the needs of the students. This teacher is part of the fifth grade team.

🍎 The Broadway Wildcats’ Honorable Mention Staff of the Month serves with a tireless work ethic and unwavering support of the school community. This staff member is punctual and on task. This staff member does an excellent job in the position held at Broadway School and works hard to succeed by learning what needs to be done. She is a
wonderful addition to our Wildcat Team.
