🐛🛟 Saving Fred in 3rd Grade! 🛟🐛 Third graders in Mrs. Siegfried’s class took on the Saving Fred challenge! Students worked together to save Fred the gummy worm by putting his gummy Life Saver on him using ONLY paperclips 📎 no hands allowed! This year, our Open House process will be a little different. Please follow the steps below to help make your visit smooth and easy.

📱 BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Parents will be able to see their child’s classroom teacher today through the Parent Portal.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have the Parent Portal app downloaded and that it is connected to your child’s information. If you have any questions or need assistance with the Parent Portal app, please see our Data Manager or our school secretary for help.

You will also be able to find your child’s teacher information in ParentSquare.

🏫 OPEN HOUSE STEPS

1️⃣ FIRST STOP: HOMEROOM CLASSROOM

Please visit your child’s assigned classroom first.

✅ Double-check your child’s information with the classroom teacher.
✅ Make sure all information is correct and up to date.

2️⃣ BUS TRANSPORTATION 🚌

You can view your child’s transportation information in the Parent Portal app.

If you have any questions about bus transportation, please visit the Bus Transportation Table located in the Kindergarten Pod.

🎒❤️ Three Days of Kindergarten Staggered Entry COMPLETED! ✅🐾 Our future Wildcats have spent the last three days with our amazing Kindergarten team, completing screenings, exploring their classrooms, and getting to know their teachers and school better! Parents also participated in a short meeting to learn more about the staggered entry days and important school procedures. 📣 REMINDER: Tomorrow is Kindergarten Open House from 4:00–5:30 PM! 🎉🐾 What a Day at Broadway Elementary! ❤️🖤 So many exciting things happened today as we officially kicked off the first day of school! 🚗🎶 Our car riders were welcomed with great music, big smiles, and lots of Wildcat energy! 🚌❤️ Our bus riders were greeted with smiles and special shout-outs from Mrs. Stevenson as they arrived ready for a great first day! 🎁 A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for bringing special goodies for our staff to help kick off the new school year. We appreciate you thinking of us! 💌 Mrs. Perrell and Mrs. Stevenson also made the morning extra special by leaving a thoughtful thank-you note on every staff member’s desk as a small token of appreciation. ❤️ 🚌 And we couldn’t forget our amazing bus drivers!
