Due to continued winter weather conditions, Lee County Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Friday, February 21, 2025. Ice and snow continue to linger on many secondary roads, and the sidewalks and parking lots at several of our schools remain hazardous, with minimal melting taking place. After consulting with local law enforcement and emergency management, it is clear that travel conditions remain unsafe for our students and staff. This is a full school closure—no work needs to be completed. It’s a good old-fashioned snow day! Get outside, stay safe, and take this opportunity to enjoy the winter wonderland with family and friends. Make some great memories! Stay warm, and we’ll see you soon!

This delay will allow buses and other vehicles to travel safely during daylight hours. Please exercise caution while traveling, and thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
