Lee County Schools is partnering with Downtown Sanford, Inc., Visit Sanford and others to collect items for our neighbors in Western NC who have seen their communities and homes devastated by flooding. You can send donation items on the list below with your child to school or you can deliver your items to the Visit Sanford Welcome Center (229 Carthage St.) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

ICYMI: Tramway was well represented at the Lee County Fair this year!

LCS will operate on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Tuesday, September 17. This delay will allow for additional daylight hours to ensure the safe travel of buses & provide extra time to make any necessary adjustments to our schedule should conditions change overnight.

Fall Intersession is here! We had a fin-tastic 1st quarter. We will see our Tigersharks again on October 7.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will take Check Ins on October 8, 9, and 10. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30am. As always please be sure your child arrives to school on time. We appreciate your support!


Our Tigersharks are super excited about the Tigershark Fall Intersession Writing Challenge. This optional work is coming home over break.

Our 3rd graders and Dual Language 1st and 2nd grade classes performed a beautiful collaborative program tonight!



Volunteers Needed on October 9th, 10th, and 11th. On October 9th we will need volunteers to help unload the items off of the truck and organize by student and classroom. Tramway has an exciting project coming up in late October! Our current 5th graders were in Kindergarten for our 2019 Art for the Sky project so we are bringing it back to Tigershark Territory.
