We had another fantastic day at Summer Bridge!! Excitement and energy could be seen in every room. From "swatting" at math problems like pros, exploring the school, plotting ordered pairs, to testing hypotheses on gum flavor —our students are learning and having a blast!
Day 1 of our 6th Grade Summer Bridge was a huge success. We look forward to seeing our Stallions again tomorrow.

Thank you to Senter Currin at Gregory Poole Equipment Company for donating the lift to move the rock to our school! Shout out to Bobby Branch, Justin Branch, Daniel Baker, and Pablo Granados for delivering the rock and putting in place. We had a blast during today's storm getting it into place! We cannot wait for our school, students, and families to be able to use the rock this school year!

SanLee is hiring an amazing EC teacher assistant! This is a new position created to support our EC students. If you are interested in this position, then please contact Mr. Chaney (christianchaney@lee.k12.nc.us).
Some of our administrators went to Lee County School's ESL summer camp and watched the students presentations yesterday! These students have worked hard for the last 4 weeks to gain more skills and knowledge to help them be successful in high school! We are so proud of our Stallions for attending! Shout out to our Mrs T Wicker for working and supporting these students each year!
Starting July 1st, the student's email address will be changed to this new format. All content under your email (email, Google Drive, Google Classroom, etc) will not be lost. Passwords will not change. Students will log in with this new format. For students with multiple first or last names, the email address format will follow the data entered into PowerSchool as your first and last name.

Some of our administrators and teachers are in Tampa for an AVID conference! They are all becoming AVID certified, which as a National Demonstration school, we have more than 65% of our staff members AVID certified!
Our SanLee AIG students participating in the Periscope program went to Wilmington yesterday and explored their local ecosystem from the beach to swamp and visited the aquarium. Thank you to Lee County Schools AIG for organizing this great opportunity for our students! 📸: Mary Ann Miller
