NC Representative Robert Rieves spent the day Friday speaking to the 8th Grade Social Studies classes. After being introduced, he spoke about his belief in about the importance of public schools and the importance of education in general. He detailed how his local education from elementary, junior high, high school, college at UNC, and the UNC Law School shaped his life. He shared his experiences as a lawyer and prosecutor and detailed how he became involved in politics. ⚾️⚽️ Hey Stallions! Baseball and Girls' Soccer tryouts are happening this Monday, March 3—so get ready!
⚾ Baseball Players:
Make sure to wear baseball pants, a ball cap, cleats (if you have them), and bring your glove & water. Parents need to pick you up in the bus parking lot by 4:45 PM.
⚽ Soccer Players:
Wear cleats (or tennis shoes if you don’t have them), shin guards (if you have them), and NO jeans! And of course, bring water. Parents should be at the bus parking lot by 4:15 PM for pickup.
📌 Important:
Everyone must have a physical uploaded on DragonFly or on file with the school.
🚨 On tryout day, meet in the gym at the 4th dismissal!

✅ Kids under 12 may participate (limit: 1 child per adult).
