"I’m proud of our program of distinction award because it shows how much the band has grown over the years and shows how much hard work and dedication everyone has put in. Over the last 4 years that I’ve been here, our program has only continued to get better and better each year. When I first joined a marching band as a first-year student, it wasn’t our greatest year, but we pushed through and never gave up.
The next year, we won 1st place trophies everywhere we went for the whole season, and it continued into the season after that. This award means so much to me and the rest of the band because it feels like all of our hard work is finally paying off. I’m so grateful for our program and all the wonderful people who make it possible! "
