In addition to his All-State accomplishment, Tucker auditioned for admission to the prestigious and highly competitive University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). On March 7, 2026, he received official acceptance to study saxophone, an incredible achievement that reflects both his musical ability and commitment to excellence.

Mrs. Matthews shared high praise for his student, stating:
"Tucker is an extremely gifted musician. He has the kind of talent a teacher sees only once or twice in a lifetime. He has the unique combination of characteristics that will make him go far in life as a musician. He has natural talent, opportunity, intelligence, determination, and nobody works harder. It takes all those things to make it in music. I am honored to be his teacher."

Southern Lee High School and Lee County Schools congratulate Tucker Moss on his remarkable accomplishments. His hard work, talent, and passion for music set a powerful example, and there is no doubt he will continue to achieve great things in the future.
