First Day of School - Friday, August 9th
Students will start by going to their AVID or ACT Prep teacher. Sophomores will have the same AVID teacher from last year. Juniors will either have Ms. Smith, Mr. Smith, Ms. Penwell, or Ms. Perry. Freshmen will either have Mr. Penny, Mr. Johns, or Mr. Holeczy. Class lists will be posted outside of each room in the hallway, so students should look for their name (they can also ask a teacher if they need help). CCCC is closed on Friday so the Student Center will NOT be open.
Schedule for the First Day:
AVID/ACT Prep- 10:00 - 11:50 am
Lunch - 11:55 - 12:25 pm
1st Block - 12:30 - 1:00 pm
2nd Block- 1:05 - 1:35 pm
3rd Block - 1:40 - 2:10 pm
4th Block - 2:15 - 2:45 pm
Students will not be allowed to take laptops home until they turn in the Laptop Form. You may print this form out to bring to school on the first day, or you can get the form on the first day of school and receive a laptop on Monday (if you bring the form back signed).
Bus Routes:
These are the Bus Routes for the first few days of school (until the traditional high schools begin on Wednesday, August 14th). For the first day of school you should add 2 hours to the estimated time since we are running on a 2 hour delay. If you did not receive a notification and are not listed on one of the routes, you will need to make alternative transportation arrangements for the first day of school.
