A Letter to Current and Future Members of the Lee County Schools Family

Dear Current and Future Members of Lee County Schools,

Welcome to Lee County Schools—whether you're considering joining our team or have already committed to serving in one of our schools, we’re excited about the opportunity to support you and grow alongside you.

As the Executive Director of Human Resources, I am proud to lead a department built on the belief that people are our greatest strength. We are committed to ensuring that every employee—teacher, support staff, administrator, or classified team member—feels valued, supported, and equipped to thrive.

Our motto, “Recruit. Retain. Elevate.” reflects the heart of our work. It’s more than a phrase—it’s our promise. In HR, that means providing clear guidance, consistent support, and responsive service to help you succeed in your role and focus on what matters most: making a difference for students.

Whether you are new to the district or have been with us for years, we are here to assist you through every stage of your journey—from recruitment and onboarding to licensure, benefits, professional growth, and career advancement. We are also here to listen, improve, and innovate—because your feedback helps us build a stronger, more connected district.

Thank you for choosing Lee County Schools. Together, we are building a workplace where support, respect, and shared purpose define who we are -and shape the future of our community."

If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our HR team. We are here for you.

Warmest regards,
Patricia Coldren
