Some 4th grade classes had a presenter come from 4-H today to introduce students to magnets since that is our next science unit. The presenter brought several magnet stations, and students had a great time exploring, experimenting with, and learning about magnets! 🧲
Tonight our 2nd graders performed Fiesta 🪅 A Hispanic Heritage production! Thank you to Mrs. Rowland, the specials team & 2nd grade team for a wonderful program!
We are very excited about our 2nd grade musical performance tomorrow starting at 6 pm . Performance will begin after the parent night at the book fair.
Reminder tomorrow night is our Parent Night at book fair from 4:00-6:00 & our 2nd grade performance starts at 6:00!
We will be taking donations during these times also for our western NC neighbors! Let's continue to help them with some of their needs during this tough time!

Lee County Schools is partnering with Downtown Sanford, Inc., Visit Sanford and others to collect items for our neighbors in Western NC who have seen their communities and homes devastated by flooding. You can send donation items on the list below with your child to school or you can deliver your items to the Visit Sanford Welcome Center (229 Carthage St.) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Sports drink powdered packets
Baby wipes
Diapers (children's & adult sizes)
Baby formula
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Plastic utensils
Manual can openers
Trash bags
Non-perishable foods
Cleaning supplies

Our fall book fair will be postponed by one day due to the weather on Friday! Book fair will not begin tomorrow but will be set up and ready to begin on Tuesday 📚
