  • Welcome Head Volleyball Erica Davidson!

Southern Lee is excited to announce our new head volleyball coach, Erica Davidson. Erica is currently a teacher at SanLee Middle School.  Erica started her volleyball career as a player in 6th grade.  She played in high school and continued her pursuits at Central Carolina Community College where she served as a setter and team captain.  In 2016 Coach Davidson earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Campbell University and enthusiastically participated in club volleyball during her time there.  Coach Davidson earned a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University in 2017 and began her teaching career at SanLee Middle School in 2019.  Coach Davidson shares these inspiring thoughts as she looks forward to serving as our Cavalier Head Volleyball Coach:
"As a former athlete, I never imagined the intense yet different type of passion that occurs standing on the sideline instead of on the court. Since I began coaching, I obtained my personal training certification in order to incorporate different techniques and skill sets to enhance the talent of my athletes. My goal as a coach is to create well-rounded athletes, on and off the court. I push for my athletes to have the desire to win, to get better and to believe in each other because one cannot do it alone. I am so excited to begin this journey at Southern Lee as their new head volleyball coach!"
