The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Each student enrolled in an Agriculture class is highly encouraged to become a member of the National FFA Organization. North Carolina currently has 55,029 students involved in agricultural education. FFA allows students that are interested in science, livestock, leadership, plants, natural resources, wildlife, mechanics, forestry, and public speaking the opportunity to take these skills to the next level.  The FFA provides the opportunity for students to participate in many different competitions on the local, state, and national level.  The winners of these competitions are rewarded with such things as scholarships and all inclusive trips to the State and National FFA Convention. The FFA provides many leadership activities including monthly meetings, competitions, chapter socials, Career Development Events (CDE), and various field trips. FFA has such a positive impact on so many students nationwide. By joining, you too could enjoy all of the benefits the FFA has to offer.  Dues are $15.00 for a one-year membership.  These dues will pay for local, state, and national membership.
