The Tiger's Den is here to support our students and families!
We are a welcoming space where families can find resources, encouragement, and support to help every child thrive.
What is the Tiger's Den?
W.B. Wicker Elementary's Family Resource Center, also known as "The Tiger's Den," is a physical space in the school with FREE emergency supplies such as food, diapers, specialized clothing, and hygiene products available for students, families, staff and community partners who need them.
Location & Hours of Operation
The FRC is located in the historical W.B. Wicker building across from the Heritage Museum.
The FRC is open by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Summer Hours
Monday - Thursday each week 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Please note that the Family Resource Center is closed every second Monday and fourth Thursday of each month.

What is available in the Tiger's Den?
Food
We keep shelf stable food products on hand such as flour, rice, canned produce, and other family staples.
Hygiene Products
We have items from toothbrushes and toothpaste to hair care and feminine hygiene items.
Interview Clothing
Thanks to generous donations from community members, we have some new and gently worn business and business casual clothing in various sizes available for those who need a pick up in preparation for a job interview.
Laundry Supplies
We maintain a stock of detergent, dryer sheets and other laundry products.
