Military Families
We at Tramway Elementary School are committed to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all students. Tramway staff understands that each military family can experience a variety of hardships and challenges. As a staff, we are committed to providing support and guidance for both the military child and family during their time at Tramway as well as during any transitions.
Tramway is fortunate to have a Military and Family Life Counselor available to our military students. This support can extend to the families, as well as staff working with these students. Our MFLC, Edna Stephens, provides support for a variety of issues military students may face. Issues may include, but are not limited to, deployment stress, relocation adjustment, reintegration, separation, anger management, conflict resolution, parenting, parent-child communication, relationships and family issues, coping skills, homesickness, and grief and loss.
We are grateful that Ms. Edna is part of our Tigershark family and here to support our military students!
