School Improvement Team 24-25
What is the School Improvement Team (SIT)?
North Carolina requires that schools develop a school improvement plan (SIP) that focuses on student performance and holds schools accountable for the educational growth of their students. The School Improvement Team develops this plan, presents this plan to the faculty and to the local school board, and leads the school in implementing the plan throughout the school year.
What is Southern Lee's current School Improvement Plan (SIP)?
Our SIP is located on the NCStar website. Any guest may view our SIP by using the username GuestS16636 and the password GuestS16636.
When and where does SIT meet? Who attends these meetings?
There are monthly SIT meetings, which are open meetings. There are teachers and teacher assistants elected by their departments to serve as representatives, as well as school administrators and parent representatives. See the document below for a list of current team members and meeting dates.
