A note from the Principal | Mrs. Kelly Bancroft

Welcome to East Lee Middle School!

I am thrilled to introduce myself and honored to serve as East Lee Middle School's new principal, Mrs. Kelly Bancroft. My educational career began in 2004, fostering a love of learning as an elementary teacher. In 2015, I expanded my impact by transitioning into school leadership as an assistant principal. Today, with over 20 years of experience, I join the East Lee Rockets community.

Originally from upstate western New York, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Elmira College (Elmira, NY). My pursuit of knowledge continued with receiving two Master's degrees: a Master's in Education from St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) and a Master's in School Administration from Campbell University (Buies Creek, NC). Leadership is a continuous learning process, and I remain deeply committed to building strong relationships with our faculty, empowering students to reach their full potential, and fostering partnerships with families and the community. Together, we will achieve our shared goals and create a nurturing environment that propels all students towards success.

Our primary objective is to cultivate an environment characterized by transparent and efficient communication between the school and the wider community. The staff of East Lee serves as a central point of contact for parents and community members, offering not only timely and accurate information but also a receptive ear for suggestions and concerns.
